Create Toolbox Tooltip shows the contents of Create toolboxes as a tooltip when the cursor hovers over them in an inventory.

What it does

The addon brings the Shulker Box Tooltip behavior to Create toolboxes. Hovering a toolbox in any inventory screen displays the items stored inside it, and the mod keeps the same GUI color options that Shulker Box Tooltip provides for shulker boxes. Create, Create Fabric and Shulker Box Tooltip are required, so the toolbox feature only works where those three are installed.

The tooltip can be switched off for toolboxes alone, and other container types such as shulker boxes can be left out of the tooltip too. That option helps avoid conflicts with other container mods. A separate toggle turns Create's default toolbox tooltip on or off, so players can pick which one they see. Mod Menu is optional and adds a configuration screen on Fabric and Quilt.

The mod runs on the client alone, so only the player's game needs it and servers do not. Files exist for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, with the newest file for each loader dated 2026-04-05. It is released under the MIT License and is open source, with public source code and an issue tracker.
