Create: Nomad adds backpacks, tools and a grappling hook to Create for NeoForge, using the backtank air that Create already supplies.
What it does
Backpacks in this addon are dyeable and fit a Curios slot, and they refill the hotbar stacks automatically from their contents. A Trackpack holds a large number of tracks and refills the hotbar in the same way, so a player who builds long rail routes does not have to restock by hand.
The tools draw on backtank air instead of durability alone. The Grappling Hook lets a player cross the world quickly, the Portable Mechanical Saw fells trees the way the standard Mechanical Saw does, and the Jackhammer mines an entire ore vein in one action, working like a pickaxe. More items are described as coming later.
The addon sits alongside Create's storage tools and follows the same look and balance, so its items feel like part of the original mod. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. The code is under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, and the source is public. Files target 1.21.1 only, with the latest NeoForge build released on 2026-05-04.
