Create: Chain Conveyors Compat

The addon adds an item tag, createchaincompat:valid_chain_conveyor_connector, that decides which items can be used to connect chain conveyors. The default tag inherits the c:chains tag, and melon slices are included as an example of how the feature can be extended. Datapacks, KubeJS or other tag-editing methods can add more items to the list, and an item can be given a custom texture so it renders correctly on a chain conveyor.

The addon is aimed at modpack developers who want chain items from other mods to work with Create chain conveyors. It is noted as compatible with Create Aeronautics and with the TerraFirmaCraft addon, which was originally made to support TerraFirmaCraft chain items exclusively. Items that are not chain-shaped may render strangely, and non-block items cannot be placed, so a custom texture is needed for those to look like the vanilla chain.

The mod is for NeoForge only and is published for Minecraft 1.21.1. Installation covers the server and each player's game. The code is released under the MIT License. Part of its implementation is adapted from an earlier community addon, credited in the author text.
