Players who need airflow routed around a Create contraption can use Create: Air Ducts, a Forge add-on that adds vents, valves and a rotatable wrench-driven setup for encased fans.
What it does
Create: Air Ducts is a work-in-progress add-on for Create that targets tidier fan-powered automation. Encased fans push air in one direction, and the mod adds vent blocks that carry that airflow forward, around corners, through walls and across larger builds, so a builder can reroute a fan's output without rearranging the whole build.
The mod depends on Create and runs on Forge for 1.20.1 only. Both client and server need it. Its files are published as a beta channel release, version 1.0.2, dated 2025-05-10, and the mod is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source. Create must be installed alongside it.
Key features
Straight, knee and splitter vents
The straight vent relays airflow forward, the knee vent turns it 90 degrees, and the splitter vent sends one flow in two directions.
Junction vent
A junction vent gives builders another routing option for branching air paths, beyond the basic straight and knee pieces.
Wrench-based input and output
Striking a vent with a wrench sets its input side, and right-clicking again rotates the output side anti-clockwise, so each vent can be aimed without extra tools.
Chainable ducting
Vents chain together in two and three dimensions, allowing a single fan's output to reach spots that would not line up otherwise.

Routing fans around obstacles
Builders can run ducting around corners and through walls when a fan's output needs to reach a part of a contraption that sits out of line.
Tidying fan automation
Long runs of encased fans can be replaced by a network of vents, keeping the automation neat and easier to modify.
Who it’s for: Create players on Forge 1.20.1 who build fan-driven contraptions and want more control over where the air goes. Server owners running Create need the mod on both sides.
