With Create Aeronautics: Encased Fluid Pipes, Create fluid pipes can run through an airship hull inside a dye-colored hot air envelope without breaking the sealed balloon volume.

What it does

The mod introduces wrapped fluid pipe blocks for Create Aeronautics, the fluid pipe counterpart of the envelope-wrapped shaft blocks already in the addon. A wrapped pipe counts as airtight balloon volume, so the hot air stays sealed where the pipe passes through the envelope. Each block is crafted from a fluid pipe and the matching colored envelope block.

Players recolor a wrapped pipe in place by right-clicking it with any dye item, and a sneak plus wrench click strips only the envelope casing, returning it to the inventory as a plain pipe. Envelope break, place and hit sounds match the existing envelope blocks, and the wrapped pipes also bounce a landing player like those blocks do.

The mod requires Create and Create Aeronautics. It runs on NeoForge only, with files for 1.21.1 – 1.21.11 and 1.0.7 for 1.21.11 as the latest build, and the server and every player need it. The code is open source under the MIT License.

Key features

  1. Sixteen dye colors

    Each of the 16 dye colors matches one of the Create Aeronautics envelope variants, so pipes can follow the colors of the hull.

  2. Airtight through the pipe

    A wrapped pipe counts as airtight balloon volume, so hot air stays sealed while fluid passes through.

  3. Recolor with dye

    Right-clicking with any dye item changes the color of a wrapped pipe in place without breaking it.

  4. Strip the casing

    A sneak plus wrench click removes only the envelope casing and returns it to the inventory, leaving a plain pipe.

  5. Envelope sounds

    Break, place and hit sounds follow the existing Create Aeronautics envelope blocks.
