Craftable Loot Chests
by Kentime
Craftable Loot Chests lets players build their own themed loot chests from specific materials, with Enchant Runes as a way to obtain enchanted items.
What it does
Each chest type is crafted from a material such as iron, gold or diamond, and the material used in the recipe sets the theme of the rewards inside. The author describes eight craftable loot chests and a special item called the Enchant Rune. Lapis Chests are the only source of Enchant Runes, and those chests often contain lapis lazuli and other items tied to enchantments.
To use a rune, a player places it together with a resource chest such as an Iron Chest, Gold Chest or Diamond Chest, which gives access to enchanted versions of the items that chest can hold. The mod is distributed for Forge and NeoForge, and it runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. Builds cover 1.19.2 – 1.21.4, and the latest files are 1.0.0 for 1.20.1 on Forge and 1.0.0 for 1.21.4 on NeoForge. The code is released under the MIT License, so the mod is not open source.
