Crabe's cannibalism mod adds human flesh drops from villagers, illagers and players, which can be crafted into food, tools and a golden heart.
What it does
Villagers, players and illagers drop flesh, an arm or a heart when they die. Flesh is processed in a grinder built from cobblestone and an iron bar, which turns meat into non-descript meat, and cooked meat can be sold to villagers. A crafted golden heart grants resistance and absorption.
The Marrowblade is a sword made with bone in place of a stick. It deals less damage and has less durability than other swords, but attacks faster. Its tool material also exists for netherite. A butcher illager joins raids, and a small structure with a butcher appears in the world. Flesh can be crafted into a flesh block using nine pieces of flesh.
The mod is published for Forge only, across the 1.19.4 and 1.20.1 game versions, with 1.4 for 1.20.1 as the latest file. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. The mod is released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license and is not open source. It is the author's first mod, so bugs may remain and the author asks players to report them in the comments.
