Cozy Cafe
by Chakyl
Cozy Cafe lets players open a restaurant in Minecraft, designing a menu and serving customers whose tips depend on how well the service goes.
What it does
Cozy Cafe adds food service mechanics modeled on games such as Plate Up and Overcooked Diner Dash. A player designs a menu of food items, drinks, mains and desserts, then manages customers as they arrive and order. Better service earns higher tips, and higher food quality raises the sale value and the reputation gained from each day.
Reputation grows as the cafe succeeds: it attracts more customers and increases the maximum size of the cafe layout, so players can keep building it up. Payments can go straight into a bank account, and the currency and difficulty can be tuned in the cozycafe-common.toml config. Menu items are data-driven, which lets modpack makers build their own cooking packs around the mod. Create Numismatics and Create Numismatics Utils are named as supported integrations, and the mod also has built-in menu item support for several other mods. The license is GNU General Public License v3.0 only, and the mod is open source.
The mod is published for Forge and NeoForge, for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, and runs on the client and the server. Both sides need the mod, so a server and every player must install it. Its public links include the source code, the issue tracker and a wiki, and new menu items can be requested through the issue tracker or a pull request on GitHub.
