Cosy Critters & Creepy Crawlies
by PigCart
Cosy Critters & Creepy Crawlies adds atmospheric animals to the world, including birds, bugs and other small creatures, for players who want a livelier landscape.
What it does
Birds take flight and scatter when something passes close by, whether a moving car, a creature or a thrown object. The effects are client-side only, so the server does not need the mod. Every effect can be disabled or configured individually, with the /cosycritters command or from the mod list menu.
The mod is licensed under the MIT License and is open source. It requires Fabric API, and Mod Menu is optional for its settings screen. Files cover game versions 1.20 – 26.3 across 19 release versions.

Atmospheric birds
Birds populate the environment and react to nearby movement by flying away.
