Convenient survival

by Eravern

Convenient survival adds custom ores, items and recipes that supply materials normally gained from mobs, aimed at players who want fewer fights.

FabricClient and serverCC0 1.0 Universal1.19.4 – 1.20.1

What it does

Prismarine ore appears between y40 and y10 in ocean biomes, and mining it with a stone pickaxe or better drops prismarine shards. Bones ore is found across the overworld between y64 and y0 and yields bones when mined. Blazing netherrack is found throughout the nether between y100 and y0 and yields blazing coal when mined with a stone pickaxe.

Ender calcite ore sits among the end islands from y120 down to y0 and needs an iron pickaxe to drop ender calcite. Blazing coal works as fuel, smelts six items per unit, and can be crafted into a block that holds nine coal and smelts nine times the amount. Ender calcite is used with popped chorus fruit to craft a shulker shell, and tridents take two diamonds, a heart of the sea and two prismarine.

The mod is client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files are published for Fabric only, across 1.19.4, 1.20 and 1.20.1, with 1.4.1 for 1.20.1 as the latest build. The code is under CC0 1.0 Universal, which places it in the public domain, so the mod is not open source in the usual sense but carries no license restrictions.
