Compressed Blocks
by BDiamond500
Compressed Blocks lets players pack nine blocks of one kind into a single compressed block, and reverse the process when needed.
What it does
Compressed Blocks is a NeoForge storage mod for Minecraft 1.21.1, published by BDiamond500 under the MIT License. It is not open source. Both the server and every player need it, so it has to be installed on both sides.
Its recipes take nine ordinary blocks and turn them into one compressed block that takes up far less inventory space, and a reverse recipe restores the originals. The mod adds further compression tiers beyond the first.
Key features
Nine-to-one compression
Nine blocks of the same kind combine into one compressed block, which frees inventory space.
Reverse recipes
Each compressed block can be crafted back into nine of the original blocks whenever they are needed again.
Extra compression tiers
Additional compression sizes are added, so a compressed block can itself be compressed further.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
How it compares
MT-Compressed is also a NeoForge mod for 1.21.1 and is open source under the MIT License, and like this mod it has to run on the client and the server. Shulker Box Indicator is open source under the MIT License for 1.21, but it is client-side only, so servers can run without it.
