CommandScheduler
by polarbearr
CommandScheduler lets server owners queue commands to run at a set interval, with an optional chance so a command fires only some of the time.
What it does
The mod adds a schedule command that registers commands for later execution. Each scheduled entry can run on a timer, and a chance setting decides whether a given run actually happens. When the odds do not line up in the expected direction, a recheck timer sets when the next attempt happens. A toggle controls whether a command runs repeatedly or only once.
A separate list option lets a weight determine which commands from a list are chosen to run, so a server can rotate through several outcomes. Initial setup is handled automatically on first start, so a new server can begin scheduling without manual preparation. Installation needs Fabric only, and the environment is server-side only, so players join without installing anything. The code is under the MIT License and is not open source, and files are published for 1.21.1 only.
Key features
Timed command runs
Commands can be set to execute on a repeating timer, with the interval chosen per entry.
Chance-based execution
Each scheduled command can carry a probability, so it fires on some runs and is skipped on others.
Recheck timing
When a chance roll fails, a recheck timer determines when the entry is evaluated again.
Run-once toggle
A setting limits a scheduled command to a single execution instead of repeating it.
Weighted command lists
Lists of commands can be drawn by weight, so one command from the group is picked to run.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
Use cases
Periodic server announcements
A server owner can schedule a broadcast or reminder command to repeat at a fixed interval.
Random events
Chance and weighted lists let a server produce occasional, varied outcomes without manual triggering.
Who it’s for: Server owners and administrators who want commands to run on a schedule without triggering them by hand.
