Combat Bash
by Lyof
Combat Bash turns the Combat Roll mod's roll into an offensive move, so a player who rolls into enemies can damage and knock them back.
What it does
Rolling into a mob deals damage and knocks it back, and the force grows with the momentum built up during the roll. Combat Bash reworks the invulnerability frame system per player: after one player is hit by a bash, only that mob is immune for a second, which lets allies strike it too. The mod also adds two new enchantments, and a bash only triggers when the weapon carries at least one level of one of them.
Combat Bash needs Combat Roll and SolLib to run. Combat Roll still controls the roll itself, including distance, cooldown and time, and those settings stay configurable in its own config. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 18 release versions, 1.19.2 – 1.21.11, under a custom license that is not open source.
Key features
Offensive roll
Rolling into a mob damages it and knocks it back, turning the defensive roll into an attack.
Momentum scaling
Damage and knockback increase with the speed built up during the roll.
Two new enchantments
Two enchantments are added, and a bash triggers only when the weapon has at least one level of one of them.
Swiftfooted effect
After rolling, the player gets a few seconds of extra speed.
Per-player invulnerability
Invulnerability frames are tracked for each player, so a mob hit by one bash can be struck by teammates during the next second.

How it compares
Combat Roll Extension is an open source Fabric addon for the roll system, published for 1.20.1 – 1.21.1 under the MIT License, and it is also a client and server mod. Rolling Down in the Deep is open source under the MIT License, runs on Fabric and NeoForge for 1.20 – 1.21.1, and is client-side only, so servers need nothing from it.

An addon mod for Combat Roll by daedelus, this small mod makes the signature roll from a defensive getaway tool into an offensive attack maneuverer! Rolling into an enemy now damages and knocks them back! The roll itself is still handled by Combat Roll, so the distance, cooldown time and everything can still be…
