Cobblemon: Rare Salty
Cobblemon: Rare Salty adds a Cobblemon item that lowers a selected Pokémon's level by one, acting as a reverse Rare Candy.
What it does
The mod adds the Rare Salty item. Using it opens the Cobblemon party selection screen, and the chosen Pokémon drops one level. The item cannot take a Pokémon below level 1. Its recipe can be crafted in the Cobblemon Cooking Pot, and a give command in the form reverse rare candy:reverse rare candy is available for quick access.
The item suits level cap challenge runs, tournaments, custom economies and server setups where a Pokémon has gone past an allowed level by accident. Players on difficulty-hack modpacks such as Radical Red can use it to correct a team. Server owners are the intended audience for these uses.
The mod is Fabric only and is published for 1.21.1. Installation covers the server and each player's game. It depends on the Cobblemon mod, which is not named here as a catalog entry. Rare Salty is licensed under All rights reserved and is not open source.
Key features
Reverse Rare Candy item
Rare Salty works like a Rare Candy in reverse, lowering a Pokémon's level instead of raising it.
Party selection interface
The item uses the standard Cobblemon party screen, so the target Pokémon is picked from the current team.
Level 1 floor
A Pokémon at level 1 is not reduced further, so the item cannot push a Pokémon below the minimum level.
Cooking Pot recipe
Rare Salty can be crafted in the Cobblemon Cooking Pot, so it can be obtained without a command.

How it compares
Cobblemon - Let Me Spawn is server-side only, open source under the Mozilla Public License 2.0, and published for Fabric and NeoForge on 1.21.1, so players can join without installing it. CobbleMorph is client required with server optional, all rights reserved, and Fabric only for 1.21.1. Rare Salty is client and server and Fabric only, so both sides need it.
