Click Mobs
by Clickism
Click Mobs lets a player shift and right click a mob to pick it up into the inventory, then place it again elsewhere in the world.
What it does
A picked-up mob is stored as an item, so it can be carried across the world, dropped into a boat or minecart, or released by placing the mob head. Dispensers can be set up to spawn the stored mobs back automatically, which suits farms and build areas that need a steady supply of entities.
The mod uses tags to decide which mobs can be picked up, so a server owner can blacklist or whitelist any mob. Messages, sound effects and particle effects are kept clean and can be turned on for feedback. German and English language support is included on Paper and Spigot.
The server must run the mod, but players may leave it out, since the server alone handles the pickups. Click Mobs requires Fabric API, is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, and is published for Fabric and NeoForge across 24 release versions, 1.20 – 26.3.
