Cinch's Villager Statues
by cinchtail
Cinch's Villager Statues places ancient villager statues in overworld biomes, built from blocks that match each biome.
What it does
Seven statue variants generate across the overworld, and each one is built from blocks found in its own biome, so the statue blends into the terrain around it. Structures stay small and add minor decoration to the landscape rather than large set pieces.
Each structure can hold a little basic loot, such as a chest with emerald blocks, and the area around the base may include decorated pots and suspicious sand buried in the ground. Some statues also use blocks from Cinch's Missing Blocks, which is a separate mod by the same author.
The mod runs on the server alone, so players join without installing it. It is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt across 23 release versions, 1.20 – 26.2, and the code is open source under the MIT License. The author notes that future versions will bring small fixes, tweaks, ports and new content.
