Chest on a Ghast lets players attach chests and minecart chests to Happy Ghasts, giving the flying mobs portable storage.
What it does
Right-clicking a Happy Ghast with a chest attaches storage to it, and a chest minecart can be used the same way. Once attached, the chest travels with the ghast while it flies over the Nether skies, so a player can carry an inventory while exploring. The mod is a simple, lightweight addition aimed at logistics setups where storage has to move with the mob.
The mod needs no other libraries, so Fabric API is not required on Fabric. Commands and configuration are kept simple to use. It runs on the server, and only the server needs it, so players join without installing anything. Files are released for Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt, covering 1.21.6 – 26.3, and the code is open source under the CC0 1.0 Universal license, which places it in the public domain. Source code and an issue tracker are linked publicly.
