Charter is a Fabric and Quilt magic mod in which contracts and covenants are the central mechanic, currently in beta.

What it does

Charter adds contracts and covenants to the game, and the author describes the mod as a preview of its contract system. Players can take on agreements that bind them to a covenant, with the terms and their consequences recorded in game. The author notes that the preview includes some older content and that the full release is still in development.

Because the files are beta builds, the author advises waiting for the full release before relying on the mod. The beta is described as heavily stripped down compared with the current in-development version, so many planned features are absent.
