Celestial
by fishcute
With Celestial, players can add planets, change the sky and reshape the fog and clouds of any dimension through a resource pack.
What it does
Celestial lets a resource pack define the sky. Creators can add new planets and bright points of light, set sky and fog colors, change the fog distance, and change the color and height of clouds. Skyboxes can use custom textures or plain solid colors, and the sky can be animated with many variables. Sky changes can apply to any vanilla or modded dimension.
Everything is configured through resource packs rather than config files, and packs behave the same on each supported version. The mod runs on the client alone, so single-player and multiplayer clients use it without any server-side install. Builds are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, covering 1.16 – 1.21.1, and the code is open source under the MIT License. Fabric builds need Fabric API as well.
