Oil Info, a NeoForge add-on for Diesel Generators, shows exact oil reserves on the Create Engineer's Goggles overlay when a player inspects a Pumpjack Hole.
What it does
Oil Info improves the oil detector information that Create provides. Instead of a rough reading, the Pumpjack Hole overlay shows exact, rounded reserve amounts for each oil field. The reserve figures come from Create: Diesel Generators, which tracks oil per chunk, so the values match what the generator uses.
The mod also classifies deposits into five configurable quality levels and can detect infinite-reserve fields. Thresholds, rounding and the Oil Scanner display can be adjusted in the config, and the interface is localized in English and Spanish. The mod is a small compatibility add-on, and it requires both Create and Create: Diesel Generators to run.
Oil Info is published for NeoForge 1.21.1 only, in version 1.0.0, released 2026-08-08. It is client and server, so the server and every player need it. The code is under the MIT License, but the mod is not open source.
