CC: Wireless Peripheral Sable
by TierForger
CC: Wireless Peripheral Sable lets CC:Tweaked computers reach remote peripherals through persistent wireless links, including on Sable contraptions.
What it does
Wireless Peripheral connects CC:Tweaked computers to peripherals over a virtual hub instead of a wired modem network. A Wireless Peripheral Linker selects a computer and a side peripheral, and the link then persists across world saves. Lua programs use the standard CC:Tweaked peripheral API, so existing code needs no change to address a linked device.
Linked peripherals keep stable, collision-safe names, and the names are remapped when a Sable assembly moves. This makes the mod suited to vehicles, mobile factories and control systems where a physical cable would be awkward or impossible to run through a moving contraption. Creating a link can consume a configurable item, and removing a link refunds it. Sneak-using the linker on a computer removes its virtual hub and returns the link-cost items.
Installation depends on Create Sable CC, and both the client and the server need the mod for 1.21.1. The project is open source under the MIT License.
Key features
Persistent wireless links
Connections between a computer and a remote peripheral are saved and survive world reloads.
Stable peripheral names
Each linked peripheral keeps its assigned name and is remapped when a Sable assembly moves.
Linker overlay
A visual overlay shows the links while the Wireless Peripheral Linker is held.
Configurable link costs and limits
Item costs for creating links and a per-computer link limit, including unlimited, are set in the config.

Use cases
Who it’s for: Players building CC:Tweaked control systems on Sable contraptions, and server owners or modpack authors who want to set the link costs and limits.
How it compares
Warvior CC:Sable wired fix runs server-side only and is not open source, under the MIT License, for 1.21.1, so it covers a different wired approach. CC : My Peripheral Extender is open source under the MIT License and needs both client and server for 1.21.1, which makes it a broader peripheral add-on rather than a wireless link system.

What the author says
Running modem cables through a moving contraption is rarely convenient. CC: Wireless Peripheral lets CC:Tweaked computers connect to remote peripherals through persistent wireless links, so your Lua programs can use them through the familiar peripheral API without a physical wired-modem network. The idea was inspired…
