CBR Killicon compat

CBR Killicon compat is a server-side Forge bridge that lets the GD656Killicon kill notification mod work alongside Custom BattleRoyale.

What it does

The compatibility layer disables the server-side judgment logic of the original GD656Killicon mod, which would otherwise conflict with the elimination mechanics of Custom BattleRoyale. Once that logic is turned off, the two mods can run on the same server without interfering with each other's rules. Players see the kill feedback the original mod provides: a hit sound when a player damages another player, a notification when a player knocks another down, and a separate headshot notification when a player is eliminated by a headshot.

The mod runs only on the server, so players join without installing anything. Both Custom BattleRoyale and GD656Killicon are required dependencies and must be present on the server. The mod is published for Forge 1.20.1 at version 0.5.1, and it is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later.

The original GD656Killicon project is no longer under development. Its author notes that the non-standard project structure makes standard maintenance unfeasible, and that the license file is version 1.1.1.002, with no formal MIT license in place. This compatibility mod carries the same deprecation status.
