Cave's Delight is a NeoForge food mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 that extends Farmer's Delight with cave-dwelling plants, mushrooms and ingredients.
What it does
The mod adds cave-related content to the cooking features of Farmer's Delight. New plants, mushrooms, deep coal ore and minerals, along with animal products, are generated in suitable cave biomes through biome modifiers. Cooking pot recipes cover burgers, wraps, jellos and more, so the cave ingredients can be turned into food.
Farmer's Delight is required, so it has to be installed alongside Cave's Delight. Just Enough Items (JEI) is optional but recommended, since it shows recipes and where each ingredient comes from. Manual configuration is needed before the biome generation behaves as intended. The server and every player need the mod installed. The license is PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0, so the mod is not open source, though its source code is public.
Key features
Cave-dwelling ingredients
New plants, mushrooms, minerals and animal products are placed in cave biomes, giving cave exploration a food source.
Cooking pot recipes
Burgers, wraps, jellos and other dishes are added to the Farmer's Delight cooking pot.
Biome-based generation
Biome modifiers control where the new plants and deep coal ore generate, with some setup needed in the configuration.
JEI recipe viewing
With JEI installed, players can look up recipes and the source of each new ingredient.
