With Cave Enhancements, underground biomes gain new blocks and decorations, and Journey Goop Caves, Rose Quartz Caves and related features are added to worldgen.

What it does

The mod expands on recent cave changes, adding new cave types and features that build on them. Journey Goop Caves are a slime-themed cave variant with their own set of blocks and mechanics. Rose Quartz Caves sit in aquifers and underwater caves, with a quiet aquatic feel and many Glow Squids.

Copper, Amethyst and Glow Ink Sac are given new uses, including Redstone Receivers. Harmonic Arrow, Spectacle Candle and vertical slab variants of new blocks such as Polished Rose Quartz are included, along with an Ender Rose Quartz Lamp from Endergetic Expansion support. Farmer's Delight support is listed as well.

Cave Enhancements is published for Fabric and Forge and runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Builds cover 1.19 – 1.19.2, and the latest files target 1.19.2. On Fabric, the mod depends on Fabric API. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source, though source code and an issue tracker are public.
