Call Your Dog adds a goat horn that teleports a tamed dog to its owner from any distance, even across unloaded chunks.

What it does

A player who owns a dog can sneak and look at it for four seconds to give it a name, which may include special characters. Using the goat horn then calls that dog to the player, and the horn only works for the dog's owner. The horn appears with an enchanted look and is held in the hand to use.

The mod runs on the server, and clients may install it as well. Servers need the mod for the teleport to work, while players may leave it out. The code is open source under the MIT License, and the source code and issue tracker are public. It depends on 5555ff-lib, which must be installed alongside Call Your Dog. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, covering game versions 1.21 – 26.3 across 17 releases, with v2.2.0.0+mod for 26.3 as the latest file, updated 2026-09-28.
