Busty

by Konlet

Busty lets players rename chests and show configurable nameplates above them, and it works with modded storage blocks as well as vanilla ones.

FabricForgeClient or server, optionalMIT License1.20.1 – 1.20.6

What it does

Players can rename a chest, and the chosen name is drawn on a nameplate that can be styled through the mod's settings. The nameplate is handled by the client, so it appears for each player who has the mod, while the server keeps the names in sync. Busty also reads storage blocks added by other mods, so a renamed container from a modded storage system can carry a nameplate too.

Settings are global and local: server owners set defaults that apply to every player, and individual players can adjust their own display. The mod is built for storage setups where many containers need labels, such as shared base storage on a multiplayer server or a sorted room in a survival world. Busty is published for Fabric and Forge across six game versions, 1.20.1 – 1.20.6, and it is released under the MIT License; it is not open source. It works on either side, and neither needs it. Its Fabric and Forge files were last updated on 2026-07-26, and the latest release for both is 1.0.1 for 1.20.6.

Key features

  1. Chest renaming

A chest can be given a custom name that replaces its default label in the world.

  2. Configurable nameplates

Nameplates showing the chest name can be adjusted in the settings, including how they are shown.

  3. Modded storage support

Storage blocks from other mods are included, so labels also work on containers beyond vanilla chests.

  4. Global and local settings

Server owners set shared defaults, and each player can change the options that apply to their own view.
