Burn in the Sun

by kreezxil

Burn in the Sun makes mobs and players catch fire in daylight, a behavior normally limited to skeletons and zombies.

FabricForgeNeoForgeServer-side onlyMIT LicenseOpen source1.12.2 – 26.2

What it does

With the mod installed, entities such as chickens are not affected unless the config enables it. The mod requires a configuration step before it changes behavior, and a super global setting can make every living thing burn in the sun. Burn in the Sun is server-side only, open source under the MIT License, and needs Cloth Config API, Fabric API and Forge Config API Port. Builds cover 1.12.2 – 26.2 across Fabric, Forge and NeoForge.

Key features

  1. Sun burning for entities

Entities that do not normally burn in daylight can be set to catch fire under the sun.

  2. Players included

The effect can be applied to players as well as mobs, so the sun also affects the player character.

  3. Global setting

A super global option applies the sun-burning effect to every living thing in the world.
