Brick Pyramid Infdev - UpPort
Brick Pyramid Infdev, published as UpPort, restores the large brick pyramids that Minecraft Infdev generated during its 2010 development phase.
What it does
Versions of the game from that phase placed large brick pyramids at random across the world. UpPort brings that early world-generation experiment back into modern worlds, so explorers can find a structure that has not appeared in the game for years. The pyramids are built entirely from bricks and keep the classic look of the original, which was a test of the early structure systems before it was removed.
The structure is meant for survival worlds, modpacks with a nostalgic theme and players interested in the history of the game. Pyramids generate while new chunks are explored, so areas that were already explored before the mod was installed may contain none. The mod is for players who want to see an early piece of Minecraft history in the world they already play.
The mod runs on the client and on the server, so both need it. It is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 16 release versions, 1.18.2 – 26.2, under the MIT License, and it is not open source. The issue tracker is the public place to report problems.
Key features
Random brick pyramids
Large pyramids built entirely from bricks are placed at random while the player explores new terrain.
Faithful recreation
The structure recreates the Infdev-era pyramid with its recognizable shape and classic brick surfaces.
Explore-based generation
Pyramids appear only in chunks generated after the mod is installed, so exploring new land finds them.
Nostalgic structure
The mysterious relic gives an earlier version of the game a place in history-minded worlds.

How it compares
No Pyramids is a server-side mod, not open source, published under the MIT License for 1.18.2 – 26.3. Better Cave Worlds is open source under the MIT License, covers 1.19 – 1.21.10, and needs the server while the client may skip it. Classic Beta Biomes works on either side, and neither needs it, and is not open source under the MIT License for 1.16.5 – 1.21.5, so it adds biomes rather than a single structure.
