What it does

Brazilian biomes are added to the world, including the Atlantic Forest, the Amazon Jungles, the Pantanal wetlands, the Cerrado savanna, the Caatinga scrubland and the Pampas grasslands. Travelers can cross rivers in the jungle regions and look over open fields in the south, each with its own terrain and plants.

The mod focuses on fauna and flora from Brazil, and it brings in mystical and mysterious creatures tied to Brazilian folklore and legends. Ferocious animals such as jaguars and alligators roam the wild areas, while rarer animals and docile ones such as capybaras appear in quieter places. Players can learn some of the culture behind these creatures as they explore.

Brazilian Expansion requires Geckolib and TerraBlender on Forge. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. Files cover 1.20.1 only, with 0.3.3 as the latest build, published on 2026-04-02 in the beta channel. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.
