Bray's Cat Overhaul

Bray's Cat Overhaul changes how cats spawn, look and behave, adding Hellcats and Withercats that come from blazes and wither skeletons.
What it does
Cats gain new variants and loot. Hellcats can appear in the Nether, where a blaze occasionally spawns as a Hellcat instead, and they naturally carry Fire Resistance. Wither Skeletons may drop a witherfish, which a player can feed to a Hellcat to turn it into a Withercat. A Blaze Rod reverts a tamed Withercat, and Magma Cream and Blaze Rods work as gifts for Hellcats.
The server needs the mod installed, while players may leave it out, so clients can join without it. Data pack support is included, and the required resource pack is available in-game from the resource packs list, as described in the Supplementary Resources section. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt for 26.3 only, and the mod is released under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.

Hellcats appear in the Nether through blazes, with a small chance per spawn of a blaze becoming a Hellcat instead.

Witherfish from Wither Skeletons turn a Hellcat into a Withercat, and a Blaze Rod changes a tamed Withercat back.
Variant-specific loot
Each cat variant can drop its own items, so tamed cats give different rewards depending on their type.
Custom outfits and models
Entity model and texture support lets cats wear custom outfits, and variants like the Astronaut Helmet and fluffy skinny cats extend the set.
