Bounty Hunt
Bounty Hunt lets server players place a diamond-based bounty on any other player, and the bounty grows as it stays open.
What it does
Bounty Hunt is a Fabric mod for servers. It sets up a bounty system paid in diamonds: a player can put a bounty on another player using any in-game item, and players online see the amount that was set. Once the target is brought down to zero hearts, the hunter is notified and can claim the reward. A bounty board lists the open bounties, and a server-wide announcement goes out when one is placed. Bounties increase after they are set, so a long-open target becomes more valuable.
The mod is server-side only, so players join without installing anything, and only the server needs it. It depends on Fabric API. A config file is created in the bountyhunt folder on the first run. The bounty item type and the announcement settings can be changed in game with commands, but the config file itself has to be edited by hand. Files target 1.20.1 – 1.21.6 under All rights reserved, and the source code is public while the mod is not open source. The latest Fabric file is 1.3.2-1.21.5 for 1.21.6, published 2025-05-28.
