Blue Flame Burning
by LobsterJonn
Blue Flame Burning changes soul fire so that it burns entities with a blue flame instead of the regular yellow one, and the change is purely visual.
What it does
Soul fire is the fire that players and mobs catch from soul blocks and soul sources. With this mod installed, that fire is drawn in blue, so entities that catch it appear to burn with a blue flame instead of the standard yellow flames. Zombies and other entities set on fire by soul fire show the same blue flame, and entities that are set on fire by a player using soul fire are affected too. Blue Flame Burning also works with modded fluids that set a player on fire, so those burning effects follow the same blue appearance.
The mod only changes how the fire looks. It does not alter damage, spread or how soul fire is created, so the gameplay stays as it is in vanilla Minecraft. Blue Flame Burning runs on Forge and NeoForge across 10 release versions, 1.16.5 – 1.21.1, and the environment is client and server, so the server and every player need it. The code is not open source, and the mod is released under All rights reserved. The latest Forge file is 1.20.0-1.0.2 for 1.20.1, and the latest NeoForge file is 1.21.1-1.1.1 for 1.21.1.

High Version Info HUD Client is a client-side only NeoForge mod, open source under the Apache License 2.0, published for 1.21.4, and it adds a version display instead of changing fire. Blue Flame Burning is a client and server mod for Forge and NeoForge across 1.16.5 – 1.21.1, and it is not open source.
