Beyond the Clouds adds a floating island dimension above the overworld, reached by flying past height 448 and returned to from below height -48.
What it does
Players who go above height 448 in the overworld reach a separate dimension of floating islands. Falling below height -48 in that dimension brings a player back down. The islands are generated as terrain, so a world gains them without any crafting or building step.
The mod adds six new biomes to the dimension, including Cherry Islands, Lush Islands and Flower Forest Islands, each with its own surface and vegetation. It is a datapack that ships with Fabric and Quilt builds, so it suits survival worlds and multiplayer servers that want a second space to explore.
The server must run the mod for the dimension to exist, while a player may leave it out and still join. Files cover 1.20 – 1.21.11 on Fabric and Quilt, with 1.3+mod for 1.21.11 as the latest file on both loaders. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.
