Better Redstone
by d3v_c
Better Redstone changes what breaking redstone ore yields, so mining it drops glittering Redstone Shards instead of plain dust.
What it does
Breaking Redstone Ore produces Redstone Shards, a solid item that players collect and then craft into redstone dust. The change keeps the familiar vanilla mechanics and recipes, and only the mining drop is altered. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. Files are published for Forge, for the 1.20.1 – 1.20.6 range, under the MIT License, and the mod is not open source.
Key features
Shard drops from ore
Redstone Ore drops glittering shards when mined, in place of the loose dust of the original game.
Shards crafted into dust
Collected shards are crafted into redstone dust, so the dust supply still comes from mining.
Vanilla feel kept
Only the drop changes, and the rest of the redstone mechanics and progression stay as they are in vanilla.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
