BetterQuickSell

by mimikyumochi

BetterQuickSell is a client-side Fabric mod that clicks the confirmation button on DonutSMP quick-sell dialogs for item stacks the player has whitelisted.

FabricClient-side onlyAll rights reserved1.21.11

What it does

When a quick-sell confirmation dialog opens on DonutSMP, the mod reads the item in the player's main hand and presses the yes button only when that item has a whitelist entry and the stack is not larger than the entry allows. Otherwise the dialog stays open and the player decides.

Entries are managed in an in-game editor reached from the controls options, where each item id gets a maximum stack size between 1 and 99, and a blank field defaults to 64. Entries in the saved file can be changed by hand, and when the file loads, any entry whose item id is not recognized or whose count is under 1 gets dropped.

The mod requires Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin, and it is published for Fabric only, with a single build, 1.0.0, covering 1.21.11. It runs client-side only, so servers do not need it. The code is not open source and is held under All rights reserved, although a public source repository is linked.

Key features

  1. Whitelist of quick-sell items

Only items added to the whitelist are confirmed automatically, so other sales still need the player's own click.

  2. Maximum stack size per entry

Each entry sets how large a stack may be before it is refused, for example allowing 16 diamonds without allowing 64.

  3. In-game entry editor

A screen adds and removes entries; the held item fills the item id and stack size fields, and an invalid id turns the field red and disables Add.

  4. Rebindable keys

Both key binds sit under the controls options as Better Quick Sell keys, so they can be changed like other controls.

Who it’s for: Players who use the DonutSMP quick-sell feature on Fabric and want the confirmation step handled for chosen items only.

DonutExtras is a client-side Fabric mod for 1.21.1 – 1.21.11 under All rights reserved, so it covers a wider version span than BetterQuickSell's single 1.21.11 build. DonutSMP Balances is also client-side on Fabric for 1.21.11 and carries All rights reserved, but it shows balances rather than confirming sales.

Questions

Does BetterQuickSell need Fabric API?

Yes. Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin are both required dependencies and must be installed alongside the mod.

Does the server need BetterQuickSell?

No. The mod is client-side only, so a player installs it and the server runs without it.

Which game version does BetterQuickSell support?

Its only published Fabric file is 1.0.0, built for 1.21.11, released on 2026-09-16.

Can a stack larger than an item's entry be sold?

No. When the held stack exceeds the entry's maximum size, the mod does not press yes and the dialog stays open.
