Better Saved Hotbars
by LukynkaCZE
Better Saved Hotbars lets players drag items between saved hotbars and remove single items from a saved hotbar with a middle click.
What it does
Saved hotbars are kept in the inventory's hotbar tab, and the mod adds controls for editing the stored layouts. It runs only on the client, so a server does not need it and players can join a server without installing anything. The code is released under CC0 1.0 Universal, which makes it open source, and the source code and issue tracker are public. Fabric API is required, and files are published for Fabric 1.19.4 – 1.21.10 across 15 release versions.
Key features
Dragging between hotbars
Items can be dragged from one saved hotbar to another within the hotbar tab of the inventory.
Middle-click removal
A single item can be removed from a saved hotbar by middle-clicking its slot, without clearing the whole layout.
Client-side editing
All changes to saved hotbars happen on the client, so the mod changes nothing on the server side.
