Better Mob Drop without advancements is a server mod that changes which items mobs leave behind, since recent versions of Minecraft give many mobs no drops at all.

What it does

Mobs in recent Minecraft releases drop nothing in many cases, which the author describes as a gap that does not make sense. This mod adds drops so that mobs such as goats leave horns and sheep leave mutton, among other creatures leaving items. It works without the advancement requirement and can also be installed as a data pack on a server.

    Creatures that give nothing in the newest versions are given item drops, so farming and hunting return something.

  2. Goat horns and mutton

    Goats drop horns and sheep drop mutton, matching what players expect from those animals.
