What it does

Astrocraft Lite replaces the plain night sky with a map of real constellations, drawn from more than 2500 real celestial points. The sky keeps a style close to vanilla, with some points shining reddish and others blue, and planets and sky rotation are added as well. The lighter build drops most of the full Astrocraft features in exchange for better compatibility and performance. Files are available for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, covering 1.20 – 1.21.1, and the mod is licensed under All rights reserved and is not open source.

Key features

  1. Real constellations

Constellations are drawn from real positions, so the night sky resembles the one seen from Earth.

  2. Over 2500 points of light

The sky holds more than 2500 points, with some tinted reddish and others blue to stay close to vanilla style.

  3. Planets and sky rotation

Planets appear in the sky and the sky rotates over the course of the day, alongside the constellations.
