Assorted World
Assorted World generates ruins, spires, pyramids, floating islands and new plants and ores in worlds that use Fabric, Forge or NeoForge.
What it does
One config file controls several world generation features in the mod: structures including ruins, spires, pyramids, fountains, snowball piles, water domes, sandstone pillars and runes, together with plants such as gunpowder reeds and glowstone seeds.
Assorted World requires Assorted Lib and Fabric API on Fabric, and runs on Forge and NeoForge with Assorted Lib. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Files cover 1.18.2, 1.19.2, 1.19.3, 1.19.4, 1.20.1 and 26.2, with 10.0.0 for 26.2 as the latest Fabric and NeoForge build. The mod is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and is open source.
Key features
Structure variety
Ruins, spires, pyramids, fountains, water domes and sandstone pillars are added to newly generated terrain.
Floating islands
Islands hang above the land and can hold structures, plants and portals of their own.
Plants and ores
Gunpowder reed, glowstone seeds and randomite ore spawn in the wild, alongside crop fields and melons.
Per-feature settings
Each feature can be switched on or off in the mod's own config file, so a pack can keep only the parts it wants.

Use cases
Survival exploration
Ruins, pyramids and rune-marked structures give players sites to discover while travelling far from spawn.
Modded packs
A pack can keep only the generation features it needs, since each part is toggled separately.
Who it’s for: Players who want more generated structures in a survival world, and server owners who want to adjust which features appear.
How it compares
No Pyramids and No Desert Wells are server required mods, with the client optional, and both are MIT Licensed for 1.18.2 – 26.3. They remove single features that Assorted World adds, while Assorted World is client and server and is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only. Floating Island Revived is client and server, open source under the MIT License and covers 1.12.2 – 1.21.8, so it is a different floating island option with a wider version range.
