AsieLib
by Doenerstyle
AsieLib is a Forge library for Minecraft 1.7.10 that other mods build on, and this fork carries a fix for a security vulnerability in the Bleeding Pipe block.
What it does
Installed on a server, AsieLib runs alongside the mods that depend on it and provides the shared code they call. Players who do not use those mods have no need for it, and it is usually pulled in automatically when a dependent mod is added. The library is published for Forge only, for the single game version 1.7.10, and the latest file is 0.5.2 for 1.7.10 from 2024-12-28.
The fork in this listing repairs a serious Bleeding Pipe vulnerability, which the original project left in place. Fixing it required removing the affected Base64 decodeToObject method, so mods that call that method can break. The method is little used, and the author reports that few of the developer's mods rely on it. Where it is not used, nothing changes, and a mod that does call it will show an error message explaining the removal.
The release also fixes a bug that kept Showcase lids in the Statues Mod from closing, and it corrects potential issues with other blocks that use AsieLib inventories. A Simplified Chinese localization was added. The work is credited to TCLProject and M3MEMonster. AsieLib is open source under the MIT License, and its source code and issue tracker are public.

Use cases
Keeping Statues Mod working

Running a secured server
Server owners who run mods built on AsieLib can install this fork to remove the Bleeding Pipe vulnerability.
Who it’s for: Server owners running Forge 1.7.10 setups with mods that depend on AsieLib, and players who want the Statues Mod showcase fix. Players who run none of the dependent mods do not need the library.
