Archipelago is a Fabric utility mod for the Cobblemon Islands server, adding buttons and tweaks to the inventory screen and to item frames that show Pokémon skin tokens.
What it does
The mod targets players on the Cobblemon Islands server and adds several buttons to the inventory screen, including an ender chest button and three home buttons that set and reach saved homes. Custom buttons can be configured to run commands, and a hotkey triggers the /feed command for ranked players only. Buttons are set up inside the Archipelago options opened from Mod Menu, which requires Cloth Config API and Mod Menu.
Archipelago also adds a skin token display for item frames. Put particular blocks behind or beneath an item frame and the displayed Pokémon shifts its evolution stage, form, pose or shiny status, while tuning a note block cycles its pose through the set options. The mod uses only commands the server itself provides, and it can be used in single-player without concern.
The mod is released under the MIT License, is open source, and is published for Fabric on 1.21.1 only, with the latest file 1.8.2 dated 2026-09-16. It is client-side only, so servers run without it and players install it alone.
Key features
Inventory buttons
Buttons placed at the bottom right of the inventory screen open the ender chest and the three home slots.
Custom command buttons
Players can create buttons that run a chosen command, configured through the Archipelago options screen.
Feed hotkey
A hotkey runs the /feed command for ranked players, and a further hotkey runs checkegg.
Skin token item frames
Item frames can display Pokémon skin tokens in the world, changing with the blocks placed beneath them.
Mega form display
Blocks under an item frame or note block switch the shown Pokémon between mega forms, including Mega Y and Mega Z.
