What it does
Nests are placed as structures in dense forests, volcanic landscapes, frozen peaks, remote coastlines and hidden underground lairs. Each nest is built to suit the habitat and personality of the dragon that lives there, so a discovery feels like part of the terrain rather than an inserted object. The structures are meant to make finding a new dragon a rewarding part of exploration and to add atmosphere to a survival journey.
The mod depends on Archipelago Additions, which supplies the dragons themselves. Archipelago Additions Nest is published for Forge only, with its current build for 1.18.2 released on 2026-07-08. It is server-side only, so players join without installing it, and the mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source. Ongoing updates are planned to add more nests and more dragons.
