Antique Dragons

by Samlegamer

Antique Dragons adds dragon markers to Antique Atlas maps, so players can record where fire, ice and lightning dragons live.

ForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.16.5 – 1.18.2

What it does

Dragon markers for the Antique Atlas map are the main addition. Each marker type corresponds to a dragon element: fire, ice or lightning. Once a marker is placed on the atlas, the player can see where a dragon of that kind has been found, which helps when travelling back to it later. The mod is built on the idea of placing dragon markers as a feature for the atlas, taken from the RLCraft modpack.

The mod depends on Antique Atlas for the map interface, Ice and Fire for the dragons themselves, Citadel, Architectury API and Cloth Config API for supporting code and settings. All five are required and must be installed next to Antique Dragons on Forge. Antique Dragons runs on the client and on the server, so both sides need it. Files are published for Forge only, for 1.16.5 and 1.18.2, with 1.0 for 1.18.2 as the latest build from 2024-05-22. The mod was first published on 2023-01-24. Its code is under All rights reserved and it is not open source.

Key features

  1. Fire dragon markers

Atlas markers that show where fire dragons are located, placed on the Antique Atlas map.

  2. Ice dragon markers

Atlas markers for ice dragons, using a separate icon so the element is clear on the map.

  3. Lightning dragon markers

Atlas markers for lightning dragons, recorded alongside fire and ice markers on the same map.
