With Amecs installed, one key can carry several actions, and modifier keys can be assigned to keybinds in the controls menu.

What it does

Amecs changes how keybinds are handled in Minecraft Java Edition. Normally a key can be bound to only one action, and a second binding is refused. Amecs removes that restriction, so a single key can trigger several functions. Duplicate bindings still show in red, which warns the player about a possible conflict.

Amecs runs on Fabric alone, and the environment is client-side only, so servers do not need it. Files exist for 1.14.4 – 26.2, the latest being 1.6.5+mc26.2-pre-2 for 26.2, and the code is open source under the Apache License 2.0. The mod is required by Entity Selector Tools.
