AltManager lets a player switch between Minecraft accounts from inside the game, without closing the client, and gives each account a local nickname.

What it does

Switching accounts normally means quitting the game and signing in again. With AltManager, the player can change to another account while the client stays open. The same screen also sets a local nickname for an account, which changes how that name appears to the player without touching the account itself. The mod runs only on the client, so a server does not need it and players join servers without installing anything extra. It targets Fabric alone, with release files covering 1.21.1 – 1.21.11 and the latest build, 2.2.2, made for 1.21.11 on 2026-06-10. The code is open source under the MIT License.
