AlienCraft : Kepler 22b is a Forge world generation mod that adds an alien planet to explore, with jungle and desert biomes, creatures, structures and rockets to reach it.
What it does
Players ride space rockets to the exoplanet Kepler 22b, a distant world with its own flora, fauna and structures. The mod is aimed at exploration, and most of the new content sits in two biomes: an alien jungle that covers most of the planet's surface, and a desert with floating islands and larger structures. Equipment crafted from the new materials adds hours of gameplay, and the drops from alien creatures feed back into that crafting.
The mod adds more than 50 blocks and items, including rockets, food sources and decorative block sets, along with seven alien species with their own abilities and behaviour. Reactive plants can help or harm, so travelers meet different dangers in each area. Client and server both need the mod, so the server and every player must run it. The author notes that this is an early iteration with many bugs expected, and asks players to report them in the comment section. Files are for Forge only, on 1.20.1, and the latest file is 1.0.5 for 1.20.1.
