Airbender Glider

The mod replaces the Elytra's visual model with an Airbender-style glider. The glider model appears only while the player is flying with the Elytra, and the pole that attaches to the back is part of the model. A Skin Customization setting can turn the pole off and replace it with the glider model, and the glider can also use a cape texture instead of the cape that stays on the back during flight.

The mod runs on the client alone, so only the player who installs it sees the change, and servers can stay vanilla or run other mods without it. Because it does not alter behavior, the Elytra keeps working as before, including on servers that restrict other Elytra modifications. Files are published for Fabric only, for four game versions: 1.21.11, 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3, with 1.0.0 for 26.3 as the latest build. The code is open source under the MIT License, and the source and issue tracker are public.
