Aesthetics, by Sinhika, is a Forge decoration mod that adds brick, stair, door, bar and metal-based decorative blocks for the Simple Ores materials.
What it does
Aesthetics adds decorative blocks built from the vanilla Simple Ores materials: brick variants, stairs, doors and bars, plus blocks based on metals. The blocks are meant to sit alongside the Simple Ores content, so a builder can finish a structure with matching trim instead of relying only on vanilla materials.
The mod requires Simple Ores on every version, and SimpleCoreLib on the newer releases. Fusion and Netherrocks are optional dependencies. Aesthetics is published for Forge across three game versions, 1.7.10, 1.12.2 and 1.16.5, and it is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only. Servers that run it need every player to install it too.
Several of the bricks, stairs, doors and bars were later moved back to the vanilla set, which is why the author stopped working on this line. The 1.16.5 release is the last one, and the author plans to rework the vanilla Aesthetics blocks so they behave more like the cut copper family.

How it compares
Aesthetics is a Forge mod for 1.7.10, 1.12.2 and 1.16.5, open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and it runs on client and server. Wood Decorations is also open source under the MIT License and runs on client and server, but targets 1.20.1 on Forge and NeoForge. Danix's Decoration covers 1.20.1 – 1.20.6 on Forge and NeoForge and is not open source. Stairs Expansion is a 1.20.1 Forge mod and is not open source.

For Minecraft 1.17.1, I moved the various bricks, stairs, doors and bars back into the mods they came from and did not issue a version of this. In the future, I may redo the vanilla Aesthetics…
