AE2 Things

by ProjectET

AE2 Things adds extra storage disks and parts for Applied Energistics 2 on Fabric, with machines that take the same disk format.

FabricClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.18.1 – 1.20.1

What it does

AE2 Things needs Applied Energistics 2 to run. Its items extend the storage and crafting network that Applied Energistics 2 builds, and some machines from other mods accept its disks, following the design of AE2 Stuff. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. Builds exist for 1.18.1 – 1.20.1 across six release versions, with 1.3.2 for 1.20.1 as the latest Fabric file.

Key features

  1. Network storage disks

Extra disk types plug into AE2 drives and extend the storage a player's network can hold.

  2. Disk-compatible machines

Machines from other mods can read these disks, following the format used by AE2 Stuff.

  3. Crafting parts

Additional parts join the Applied Energistics 2 network, adding new components to automated setups.

What the author says

This mod adds two machines from AE2Stuff the Advanced Inscriber and Crystal Growth Chamber, and a new type of cell the DISK: Deep Item Storage disK. This cell has no type limits and one item counts as one byte. Due to limitations with the cell format, you lose 24 bytes per kibibyte, but hey a small price to pay for…
