ZomBilliard Balls

by damiennesretrotech

ZomBilliard Balls adds billiard balls to the drops of defeated mobs, with a data pack option that changes how skeletons drop them.

FabricForgeQuiltServer required, client optionalMIT LicenseOpen source1.21

What it does

Zombies can drop billiard balls after they are killed, and a skeleton that is killed while the pack is active can release a set of fifteen balls alongside a cue ball. Drop chances and rarity tiers are set in the data pack, so the rewards vary: common balls come in numbered sets of one to seven and nine to fifteen, rare drops are aqua, and a lower-chance epic drop of eight cue balls is magenta. Only the server has to run the mod, so players may join without installing it. It is released under the MIT License and is open source. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and Quilt, all for 1.21.

Key features

  1. Zombie drops

Zombies drop billiard balls when they are killed, adding a new item source to the mob loot table.

  2. Skeleton data pack drops

A data pack lets a killed skeleton release fifteen billiard balls along with a cue ball.

  3. Tiered rarities

Balls come in common, rare and epic tiers, with rare drops shown in aqua and epic cue balls in magenta, at lower chances.
